Rules For Selling
Here are the basic rules for posting a listing at Crafting Crazy.

The Main Listing
  1. You must describe the item/items for sale accurately, do not mislead people.

  2. If not adjustable try to specify the size of the jewelry. This will help your item be found in searches.

  3. Your item must have at least one image. Images do not cost extra here like online auctions so try to add a few if you can.

List In Appropriate Categories

Always try and list your item in the most accurate category available this will improve your chances of selling it. Feel free to list it in more than one category as long as it fits in that category.

Add Images
Remember we let you add up to 4 images for each listing there is no charge for extra photos or gallery images here. Listings with images have much more chance of selling. For example if you are selling a game, show the outside of the box and the inside with all the pieces. Listings with two or more photos tend to sell better.

Postage And Packing Costs
We ask that you work out your postage costs to the furthest point from you within the US and add them to the price you want for the item. We do not separate the two here because it means that buyers pay one simple price including the delivery.

Standard Postage Methods
Without exception you should send ANYTHING you sell to the buyer by insured mail. This is very inexpensive at around $1 extra per $100 in value. While we do not get involved in disputes between buyers and sellers we WILL delete the account of any seller who consistently does not deliver their sold items in a timely manner.

If a buyer complains about you we will ask you to send us a copy of the insured mail receipt. If you cannot provide this we may have to take the word of the buyer that they did not receive the goods.

If that buyer paid by PayPal and they launch a dispute then PayPal will ask for PROOF OF DELIVERY always remember when dealing with us or PayPal PROOF OF POSTING MEANS NOTHING! You need to be able to prove the item was DELIVERED!

Packing Your Items
Always pack your items as well as you can, especially if there is a chance they could be damaged in the post.

Refunds
If someone you sold to asks for a refund for what ever reason, we recommend for the sake of a few dollars you refund them. Just ask them to return the goods to you by insured mail and when you get them back issue a refund of the purchase price. Why should you do this??? A few reasons:
  1. Most times it really isn't worth the stress and grief involved in arguing with someone, just get the item back, refund them and re-list it.

  2. If you sell the item by PayPal and the buyer disputes the transaction and you do not respond to their complaint, PayPal may refund the buyer automatically and you have lost your item and the money. If you get a dispute at PayPal we recommend you first offer a refund when they return the item to you. Do this via the PayPal dispute page so they can see you are offering a solution. If they go over your head and refund the purchase dispute it and provide them with the insured mail tracking so they can check the delivery of the goods.

  3. Be aware that if you do not respond to a dispute at PayPal and the buyer does a charge back via their credit card company, the credit card company will automatically bill PayPal for this and they will in turn bill you $10. So you would end up refunding the purchase, losing the postage and paying $10 not worth it!

  4. If you satisfy a complaint quickly and effectively there is a good chance that person will buy from you again.

Finally make sure you make yourself aware of our easy to understand terms of service by signing up or posting an item for sale you are legally agreeing to these.
